The direction of experts training in speciality «330840 electric drives and automation of technological complexes» of higher vocational training of the Republic of Kazakhstan conforms to the Qualifier of specialities authorized by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan order of February 19, 2001, ¹ 85.

An expert is trained to take part in production and technological, organization and administrative, design and research activity in the field of creation and operation of automated electric drives of industrial objects and technological complexes. An expert is intended to work at industrial enterprises, in scientific, design and design organizations.
Objects of professional activity
Objects of the professional activity of graduates are controlled electromechanical and technological systems including electrical, electromechanical, mechanical and information devices intended to transform electrical energy into mechanical (and back) and management of this process:
- Electrical engineering equipment of machines and mechanisms (in branches);
- Electric drives;
- Electric supply systems of electric drives and technological complexes;
- Power supply systems of technological complexes;
- Information gathering and transfer systems of electrical engineering equipment, machines and mechanisms operation;
- Systems of technological and managing information transfer by communication channels for the electromechanical equipment;
- Control systems of electric drives and technological complexes;
- Electronic and microprocessor means and systems for electric drives and technological complexes;
- Electrical transformers for electric drives;
- Computer and microprocessor monitoring systems of operation modes with electric drives and technological complexes.
Term of training
- Higher special education - 5 years.
