General characteristic of bachelors training directions
Bachelors training in the direction «551730 - Safety of life activity» of higher basic education of the Republic of Kazakhstan conforms to the Qualifier of specialities GC RK 08-2001 of 23.04.01 ¹117.
The qualifying characteristic of the graduates is a bachelor of engineering and technology.
The graduates are given a qualification and an academic degree of a bachelor of engineering and technology.
An expert with higher basic education who has received the qualification «Bachelor of engineering and technology» in speciality «551730 - Safety of life activity» should answer the following requirements:
- to know the basic rules of the Republic of Kazakhstan legislation in the field of safety and protection of labour activity, protection of environment and rational use of natural resources, extreme situations, other laws and conforming normative requirements; theoretical bases of ecological, chemical, radiating, biological and other kinds of safety; principles of examination, saving works, medicine of accidents; principles of information technologies, typical computer programs to solve problems in the field of safety of life activity.

Objects of the professional activity of the graduates-bachelors are natural, man-caused, social, information systems and it's components; all economic branches without exception, including military-industrial establishment, industry, agriculture and municipal economy, manufacture and consumption; factors determining safety of life activity and allowing to prevent fire, ecological, chemical, radiating and other hazard; equipment and devices ensuring safety of life activity.
