A modern university corresponds to the complex system having a number of features. First of all an essential prevalence of the information processes above the material as a significant part of a subject, means and end-products of the activity makes the information. Another important feature of the university activity in the comparison with other organizational systems is the prevalence of the human factor.
These features essentially influence the choice of a functioning model of the modern technical university.
As a basis of the system the engineering staff training the principles of fundamental natural-science training checked up by time in the first years and special training in the senior years are fixed in view of the requirements of the leading centres of RK and a wide experience of improving the educational process at the KSTU faculties.
